With the addition of checkpoints, players are spared the frustration of restarting from the beginning of a level upon death. Despite the game's considerable difficulty, these checkpoints offer respite by negating the need to continuously revisit previously conquered sections.

Land of Chai 2 boasts excellent replay value through various end-game objectives like achieving a minimal death count and rescuing specific chais. These objectives ensure that the game remains fresh and demanding even after completing a full playthrough.
